Crocs

OK where do i start?? It was a very fun filled day yesterday starting off with meeting my new family! they had someone inside to help me with customs and everything cuz here you don't go inside the airport without a pass you wait outside. It was so sweet when i came out they were sitting down and when they saw me they jumped up and ran over to me ready with hugs. The kids say that they are happy to have 6 people in the family again!! There has not been an awkward moment it is just kinda like i was an lost old friend. Then we started our 5 hour drive to Siem Reap after lunch. The roads here are crazy like Mexico but worse, when you drive you drive on whatever side of the road you like. Most people drive motorbikes with like 5-6 people on it!! i will try to get a picture up!! With my Internet hookup i have to wait till night to load or download, so hopefully i can post tonight. While driving you learn to drive around the cows, crazy motorbikes and chickens. The roads are..... FUN who needs Disneyland when you have a roller coaster thrill ride just while driving!!!!! The house is nice and we have AC but only when it is super hot, I don't want to use mine cuz that will just postpone me getting used to the weather. YIKES i hear the Crocs splashing! oh dear i am still laughing about that. The landlord breeds them and sells them for skin or show. The old pit and pins that the BIG ones were in are about maybe a 100ft or not even that away from my window. Now it is just the little big ones that are that close, then if you walk out a little there is another for the babies and then a 2 min walk to the BIG ones. I think the Lord lead the landowner to move the BIG ones so that i can sleep at night, not wondering how long before one gets out or how long till they are hungry enough to eat me!!
Safe, sound and not eaten,
Lyss
